Born and raised in Laramie, I graduated from high school in Rock Springs in 1974. I received my pre-dental education at the University of Wyoming and graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry in 1981. Upon graduating I married Ginger and immediately moved to Kemmerer where I have practiced general dentistry for 35 years. I served on the Wyoming State Board of Dental Examiners for 10 years and continue to examine for Central Regional Dental Testing Service. I served as president of the Wyoming Dental Association in 2006, and I am a member of a number of professional organizations.

I am a member and past president of the Kemmerer Rotary Club. I served on the Lincoln County #1 school board for 10 years, eight as chairman. I am a preacher at St. James Episcopal Church in Kemmerer.

Ginger and I have four sons, all of whom have degrees from the University of Wyoming. Zach, 32, B.S. and PhD in chemical engineering, Brett, 30, B.S. and M.S. math education, Geoff, 29, B.S. business, and Luke, 27, B.S. physiology and he will be completing his PhD in ecology at Purdue this year.
