Current openings
Volunteer opportunities are available at all Wyoming State Parks and Historic Sites during the months of May through October.
The State Museum Volunteers Inc. currently has about 40 members. However, we are always looking for new volunteers to work at the information desk. Information Desk shifts are 3 1/2 hours. Volunteers greet guests, inform them of special museum exhibits and events, and answer visitor questions.
Volunteer opportunities are also available in Archives, Collections, and Education, however, these openings are on an as-needed basis. The museum's volunteer liaison would be happy to meet with you to discuss possible openings. You may contact Sarah Ligocki, Education Curator and Volunteer Liaison, at 777-7021.
